NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS TRAINING CENTER
The National Preparedness Training Center (NatPrep) was established to provide communities, schools, businesses, first responders and individuals who have emergency management responsibilities support in meeting the National Preparedness Goals including:
  • Incident Management Continuity Programs;
  • Continuity of Operations;
  • Disaster Logistics Integrated Preparedness;
  • National Incident Management Systems Training; and
  • Integrated Preparedness.

NatPrep offers a proprietary Systematic Critical Threat and Resource Self-Assessment ™ tool

  • Emergency Management Plans - Prevention-Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery. Training for school personnel in emergency management procedures, coordination with local public safety and government agencies. Evaluation of state of readiness within school system to safely respond to a natural or terrorist event - adequacy of existing school emergency response plans, - threat assessments - awareness and involvement of stakeholders in school emergency response and readiness - needs to achieve and maintain full preparedness including coordination with first responders, equipment, ability of school to perform mass evaluations, recommendations on necessary training and drills required to meet all Federal, State, and Local directives.
NatPrep utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach including a rigorous study of available data to gather the information required to produce effective assessments, gap analysis, plans and training that encourages local ownership, awareness, and participation.
